Hello Folks,
Greetings! My two-week break from teaching is over, and Yoga classes and the fall season kicks off Wednesday, September 1st. Aside from the weekly classes, we'll also have an online Ganesh festival that starts on September 10th with Shantala Sriramaiah, and a tentatively scheduled Pranayama intensive from September 27th to October 1st. The next issue of WITH Magazine will come out as a newsletter, and those will be sent out on
separate mailing list, which you can sign up for starting Wednesday, September 1st, here.
The Intro to Ashtanga Yoga with Sonal and Sandeep Sharma has five spaces left, and you can register for that here. It begins on Thursday, Sept. 2nd.
SCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER
(Thursday is the new day-off, and we will have classes on Wednesdays):
WITH MAGAZINE NEWSLETTER
The first WITH Magazine Newsletter features Jessica Dore, a social worker and Tarot reader , who combines her expertise on different psychological modalities with traditional card interpretation. We did the interview back in June, and I asked her to draw a few cards to see if I could have some insight into the usefulness of WITH. Her cards were interesting (you can read tomorrow what she pulled); but my essential takeaway was: keep it simple; don't be
intrusive of the demands on people's time; & make it useful. Interestingly, over the course of the summer I decided to morph WITH into smaller articles with inspiring people and perhaps some cool things to look at. Only things that will add value to our lives.
BACK TO SCHOOL
Who gets the itch to purchase back to school supplies every September even if you aren't in school anymore? Definitely me. And Lili. If you are looking for a great selection of pens, pencils, and slightly high-end notebooks, we recommend Goods For The Study. They have
every type of pen and pencil a writing geek could hope for. It's a little dangerous, in fact, but don't worry, I resisted. I only bought a blue sharpie for Jocelyne to help me address t-shirt envelopes (shirts go out later this week, btw).
That's all for now, see you in class!
Peace and Love!
Eddie
