Hello, Folks!
Our first week at Sky Ting Yoga got off to a great start; a big thanks to all who came for Sunday's led class!
Ashtanga Yoga New York News
Registration for our Manhattan classes for May and June is currently open, and you can sign up
here.
After our first week of classes begins this week I'll have a better sense of the flow (not the vinyasa flow) of the traffic, and then we can see about adding drop-in's for Mysore practice for May and June.
In July we'll hold our yearly intensive, from July 3rd to 7th. Dates and times will be announced at the end of April.
Meditation with Jocelyne News
Jocelyne will be teaching an afternoon meditation class at The Shala on April 15th and 22nd at 1:30pm, and April 19th and 26th at 1:45pm. She will teach the forgiveness, loving-kindness, compassion, and space meditations. You can register through The Shala's website
here.
Jocelyne and Lorenza's SADHU Elixir pain and tonic oil is a miraculous blend of organic ginger, mustard, marjoram, saffron and clove. You can order it from the
Butter Elixir website. You won't be disappointed!
One Simple Thing News
Eddie has a string of book events (some combined with workshops) coming up over the next few months: Integral Yoga on April 28th, the Penn Book Center on May 18th, Amsterdam on May 26th, and Paris on June 10th. His full workshop and book event schedule can be found
here. He'll also be participating on
this panel speaking about Hilma af Klint on April 13th.
One Simple Thing remains the number one new release in both the Yoga and Religious Studies categories on Amazon: thank you for your support! If you haven't ordered a copy yet, you can do so
here.
If you have a book club that is reading the book, or would like to read it, I'd be happy to call into one of your discussion groups to answer any questions you might have about material in the book. Just reply to this email if you'd like to do that.
Paramaguru R. Sharath Jois Tour
Last but not least, R. Sharath Jois will be on tour in the US during April and May. He'll be teaching in Brooklyn from May 10th until the 14th. You can register for both the week of classes and drop-in classes, as well as the Stanford and Miami classes,
here. He will be teaching primary and intermediate classes, and hold one
conference (lecture) on Monday, May 13th.
We are looking for volunteers to help with registration and mat management for the workshop. Please
email Leeah if you would like to volunteer.
That's all for now!
With love,
Eddie and Jocelyne
PS. Yes, chapter 5 of my book is named after
this song.
