Hello Folks,
We have three schedule changes this week:
🏋️ This coming Friday there will be two Yoga and Strength classes, one at 7 am and one at 8:30 am. This fun and challenging class addresses various movements supporting strength, functionality, and endurance capacities.
We will practice sun salutations, some yoga asanas, as well as a bunch of exercises that are found in traditional Indian exercise arts such as Kushti, as well as other strengthening practices. Practices that follow set routines are great for creating a disciplined habit, but it's also important to add some variety to your physical routines because your body becomes accustomed to doing the same thing repeatedly, and the rate of return diminishes. You can get insights into using your body in new,
supportive ways that can improve your other routines. Nature likes a little bit of change, and a little bit of controlled chaos now and then. It's one of the ways that we stay healthy.
🚴♂️ On Saturday I will attend the American Diabetes Association's Tour De Cure bike race in upstate NY—the Breathing App for Diabetes is one of the race's sponsors, so there will be no Yoga Sangraha class on Saturday.
🕉️ Next week, sadly, there will be no Morning Mantras at 7am, as I have to be out of town from Monday evening to Tuesday evening. We will pick up that class again the following week, and perhaps add one more day of it, a little earlier in the morning. Carly, Sheetal, and Manavi will be teaching the Mysore practice on their own those days next week.
That's all for now! Thank you and please

Best,
Eddie
