Hello Friends, 

Starting this week, the Saturday Yoga Asana Sangraha class will be meeting at 8am, and not 8:30am. The Yoga Education Pranayama Teacher Training starts this Saturday, and then in February the Yoga Education Teacher Training, both which meet Saturdays at 9:30am, hence the time change.

I also had some zoom link tech glitches this week, which I think we have sorted out. Please accept my apologies, and for whatever classes you paid for but did not attend, let me know, and I'll send you free links for your next.

PPS What is Yoga Asana Sangraha?

This class is comprised of an hour of postures that are largely drawn from the various Hatha Yoga traditions. These are postures I do in my own practice, many that we do not find in Ashtanga Yoga. It’s basically an all-level class, and is an opportunity class to try some traditional Yoga practices and explore other approaches to yoga asanas. I recommend it for both students and teachers of yoga. It’s important to move your body in different ways if you have become habituated to just one sequence or one type of movement, and so this class is an opportunity to do so. The sequence of the postures is intentional to move towards deep states of calm for the nervous system.
